My today’s review is about one such lip balm, ‘Kronokare The Frizz Kiss Cooling Explosion Lip Balm’, which was a part of fab bag. Let’s see how happy I am with this product.

My Take on ‘Kronokare The Frizz Kiss Cooling Explosion Lip Balm’
Retractable lip balms are in fashion these days, and if you keep seeing the same packaging again and again you sort of get bored of it. The Kronokare frizz kiss lip balm comes in small squeezable tube. It is the typical old look of lip balms, and as I have seen it after a long time I really like it. The opening is in the shape of a doe-foot with tiny hole that oozes out the balm. It is covered with a black screw cap that protects it from getting damaged. The tube is lightweight and can be carried even in a pocket.
It has a gel texture, which is easy to work with. If you have ever used petroleum jelly you would easily be able to relate the soft texture to that. It has prominent mint fragrance that adds freshness to the lips and rejuvenates, especially when I feel all exhausted. For the application, you can either squeeze it on your finger tips or directly apply it on to the lips. Either ways make sure you spread it well and slightly massage the lips. Once spread properly, it causes cooling sensation that is long lasting. The cooling sensation feels as ice for initial 30-35 minutes, after which it starts fading and completely dissipates after an hour or so.
It is a colorless lip balm so can be easily used whenever your lips need moisture. I do not like applying colored lips balms before going to bed, so this colorless lip balm comes as a rescuer. Also, it can be easily applied underneath a lipstick or lip-gloss without interfering with its actual shade. Moreover, it feels light and non-sticky and can be reapplied all day long.
This lip balm is formulated with Vitamin E, peppermint, shea butter and sunflower oil. Each of these ingredients has its own role to play. Shea butter combats dryness, peppermint causes the refreshing cooling sensation, whereas Vitamin E & sunflower oil heals chapped/flaky lips. You would not need to use this balm for over a long period of time to witness the efficacy. I could see the moisturizer-effect after one use, and since then I have not stopped using it on daily basis. In cold weather, I used to just dab this on in the morning and it did the healing work pretty well. Overall, Kronokare the frizz kiss lip balm keeps the lips healthy and happy.
