I hope you all are doing great and enjoying this sudden change in the weather. I am relieved that finally Delhi’s weather has become so pleasant and romantic. Apart from nice weather, I have another reason to celebrate. I have finally completed my Masters, now I have become a Post Graduate. :dancydancy:

Forest Essentials Lip Scrub is used to gently exfoliate dry dead skin on your lips and prepare them for a nourishing butter lip balm. The scrub contains very fine cane sugar, Olive Oil, Kokum Butter, Organic Beeswax and fresh Fruit and Flower juices to buff and smooth the lips. It contains natural essential oil with no preservatives or synthetic colors.

My take on ‘Forest Essentials Lip Scrub Cane Sugar’
This is the first time that I have tried any Forest Essentials product. This scrub was on my wish list from a long time but its heavy price tag was making it impossible for me to add it to my cart. Finally last month, I managed to bring this luxurious product. As it was my birthday month, I managed to emotionally blackmail my mother and took as much benefit as I could B-) .
Before using this lip scrub, I used to apply home-made lip scrubs. I was satisfied with their result. The only drawback was that they used to take a lot of time in preparation, and could not be stored for long durations. So I had to prepare a fresh scrub every time. Being a lazy person by birth, I opted for Forest Essentials’ ready to use scrub.

Coming to the product, I felt little disappointed when I open the packaging. I was expecting a little more quantity of the product in that price :cry: . My first thought was that it would hardly last for a month. But when I used it, I needed only a small quantity. Now I am sure that it will take me ages to finish it completely. The product comes in a small box with a cute golden colour lid. It is a decent product which does what it claims. It effectively removes the dead cells and makes lips soft and supple. I have noticed that after its continuous use, it has lightened my lips little bit. It also moisturizes my lips, so I don’t need to apply lip balm after using it.
I use it twice a week. I apply the scrub all over the lips and keep scrubbing it lightly for 2-3 minutes and left it for another 5 minutes. Then I gently remove it with a help of a tooth brush. After washing it with luke warm water I apply my favourite lip balm.

This is the very first time that I am using ready-made lip scrub, so I can’t compare it to any other brand. But it definitely works better than my home made lip scrub.
Overall I am very much satisfied with my first FE purchase. As it contains no preservatives or harmful chemicals, so I don’t think that anyone will face any issue regarding its quality. The scrub does its job delicately and beautifully. I have started loving my lips and enjoy the feeling of touching my smooth and moisturized lips ;-) .

– It comes in a cute travel friendly box that is easy to store.
– It has very impressive list of ingredients – no chemicals or preservatives.
– It effectively removes dead cells.
– It makes lips baby soft.
– It also moisturises the lips.
– The scrub particles are not at all coarse.
– Only small amount is needed for a single use.
– It has very mild and floral fragrance.
What I do not like about ‘Forest Essentials Lip Scrub Cane Sugar’
– The product comes with a huge price tag.
– Availability issues – available either at an FE store or online.
