Proper skincare is one of the sure shot ways to keep the skin healthy and young for a long time. What’s even important is to use the right products that are formulated for your skin type. For that reason, I am a huge fan of Korean skincare and I love trying their products. The Face Shop Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam Lemon Face Cleanser is my current product from the famous Korean skincare brand. I have been using it long enough to share the reviews with you all. My take on ‘The Face Shop Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam Lemon Face Cleanser’

It is a flip open tube that looks decent. The cap shuts properly keeping the contents secured. The tube is light-weight, easy-to-carry; you can even put it in the cabin bag if you are planning to travel by air. Herb day 365 cleansing foam is available in five variants- lemon, peach, acerola, aloe vera and mung beans. Here are the benefits of using each of these five alternates, depending on your skin type or concerns you can pick whichever suits you best.

I chose the lemon variant since I thought it would be best option for my oily skin type but since I moved to Canada and the weather is harsh cold here I am finding this face wash a bit drying. It has refreshing lemon (y) fragrance and creates abundant lather. I am a foam loving person so I love the fact that it creates so much lather but what I do not love is the over drying, stretchy feel that it leaves behind.

I use it once a day only that too during the night when I have to remove makeup. Just a small pea size quantity is what I need to remove makeup and thoroughly cleanse my skin. Undoubtedly, it provides a clean slate but at the cost of over dryness. I feel like it has extracted every last drop of moisture from my skin. If that’s the feel on my combination to oily skin I can’t imagine how dry it will make the normal skin types. Also, you have to be careful while rinsing it off. Shut your eyes properly to prevent getting it into the eyes and make the teary. Other than that, it lasts for a long time and meets the cleaning expectations.

Final Word: If I had normal to dry skin I would not use this product because of over-drying feeling. On the contrary, if you have extremely oily skin you can probably try this face cleanser when it’s hot and humid out there. It will thoroughly clean the skin in a foamy sea, removing even the stubborn makeup.
