Ulta3 Eyebrow Kit Review Swatches

For some reason my eyebrows have become thin with a few gaps in one of them. Though I keep applying castor oil every night to regrow the hair but the growth is a bit slow. That’s why it is imperative for me to fill in the brows, especially when I do full face makeup. I have tried a number of products that claim to give natural looking full brows, and as expected, some worked and some did not. Today, I am sharing my review of Ulta3 Eyebrow Kit, which I have been using for a few weeks now.

My take on ‘Ulta3 Eyebrow Kit’

As the product description says, this brow kit contains three powder shades plus sheer wax. All this comes in a transparent rectangular kit that in addition also comprises two small brushes. One is a flat brush that is ideal for brow filling and second one is a round brush that should be used to set the brows. The only thing I found missing in this brow kit is the inbuilt mirror, rest it is a nice on-the-go kit you would need to up your brow game.

Coming to the shades, the three powder shades would ideally suit medium to fair skin tones. For darker skin tones, I do not think the darkest shade in this kit would work great. I have medium skin tone and I always prefer the darkest brown shade as the other two lighter shades do not come up that well on my skin. And, if use the wax on top that makes the brow even darker but on regular basis I do not prefer doing that as it gives an artificial look. I like natural looking brows for office makeup and that’s the reason why I do not set them with wax every day except when I have to attend office parties or have to go somewhere after office.

The brushes are tiny but still fulfill the purpose they are designed for. The flat brush helps shape the brows and full them with precision. If you like sharply defined brows, the round brush has to be used carefully otherwise it can interfere with the shape.

As well as the longevity is concerned, I find the brow powder stay all day long on me. It does not move or spread but just stay intact the whole day even without the wax application. The removal is easy too. I can take it off my brows with just plain face cleanser. The pigmentation is nice- in just a couple of strokes it gives a naturally filled brow look. But yes, as I have said earlier, dark skin tones might not find it the best available option.

For the usage, use flat brush to define and fill the brows with powder, then use round brush to set brows in place with wax.

Final Word- The three powder shade option in Ulta3 Eyebrow Kit makes it suit many skin tones except the dark ones. The long-lasting formula and nice pigmentation make it another good pick for everyday use. I would recommend it for medium to fair skin tone girlies who are looking for naturally filled brow-look.
