How are you all doing? It has been tough summers this year for my skin as I could not find an appropriate face wash to stick on. The weather kept changing constantly, so did I with my face washes. Well I guess the recent one I used was good, but not up to my expectations, as I have really stubborn skin (very dry). 🙁

My Take on ‘Lakme Clean Up Nourishing Glow Face WashStrawberry’
I was really fed up of frequently changing my face washes as they failed to keep up to my expectations. I was looking for something mild that would not my dry skin drier in changing season. I have very dry skin that starts itching whenever I use some soap or face wash, which is not meant for dry skin. So I was very confused what to buy. I finally decided to buy something different that I had not used before. I have seen the alluring advertisement of Lakme fruit blast face washes a lot of times. Owing to these I decided to go for one of these face washes. But again confusion prevailed as there are a couple of Lakme face washes. This time I was not ready to go for the deep research to decide on the perfect face wash so I blindly picked up ‘Lakme Clean Up Nourishing Glow Face Wash’. Actually, I did not do that blindly, the attractive packaging of this nourishing flow face wash enticed my eyes to fell in love with it.
It comes in a squeezable strawberry colored tube. Obviously the color has to be strawberry as it is enriched with strawberry extracts 😉 . The face wash has gel like consistency with miniscule beads in it. The beads are so small that they do not help in scrubbing but do thorough cleansing. Because of the strawberry extracts it smells pleasant, and feels very gentle on the skin.
I use this face wash twice a day, and only coin size quantity is required for each use. As soon as I rub it between my wet palms it creates rich leather that I further spread on my entire face. Then I massage my face for 10-20 seconds, giving the face wash enough time to dissolve dirt and makeup residues. Afterwards I rinse off with regular tepid water. I do not prefer lukewarm water as I already have dry skin, which if cleansed with lukewarm water gets drier. Anyway, it cleanses my face perfectly – removes makeup and dirt traces.
Immediately after washing, my face feels normal. I mean no stretching or dryness but only after 20-30 minutes white signs of flakiness show up on forehead causing my skin to stretch and itch. I have to keep applying moisture at frequent intervals to surpass this feel. Yes, this face wash makes me use moisturizer more than twice a day. I wonder what this product would do in winters as this is just a start of the winter season. I do not that it is a good choice for normal to dry skin beauties but I also believe that people with extreme oily or even combination to oily skin can give this a try.
