Hi Everyone,

Typically, cleansing is the first step of a typical skin care routine. Irrespective of your skin type you should not use cleansers more than twice a day. Their frequent use can extract the required skin moisture thereby making it dull and lifeless. Even when I used to suffer from acne I never washed my face twice a day. According to my dermatologist, excess washing leads to dryness, cause oil glands to secret more oil and therefore raises more risk of bad-skin-condition. Abiding by that advice, I stick to 2 time washing.

JAFRA Brightening Cleanser is new entry in my skin care arsenal. Let’s see how much good or bad it has done to my skin.

My Take on ‘JAFRA Brightening Cleanser’

‘JAFRA brightening cleanser’ is a part of JAFRA’s brightening and whitening range. Ideally, it has to be used along with other products of brightening range but considering its soothing effect I would use it any day anytime. It comes in a white colored squeezable flip open tube. It has a gel based texture, which is very soft just like aloe Vera pulp. The cleanser has very pleasant fragrance- I cannot actually pin point the ingredient that is building up this aroma but the fragrance itself has the power to awaken my dormant senses :whistle:

Regarding usage, I take a small dollop of the product, rub it between my wet palms to create lather and massage over wet face & throat. It creates enough lather to satiate the cleansing feel. The first time I used this cleanser it did not produce much foam. The probable reason was that I applied it on dry face, so if you want it to work well then you should wet your face before applying it.

It removes all external impurities such as grime, pollution and washable makeup. In case you are wearing waterproof makeup then please first remove it with makeup remover and then use this cleanser. The after washing effects are awesome: it instantly makes my skin soft, radiant and fragrant. I have been using this cleanser for over 1.5 months now, and it has never over-dried my skin or made it feel stretched.

Till the time, while using this cleanser, I have not faced any major skin breakouts. My skin feels happy and looks healthy :dancydancy: .
