Tea tree is usually suggested for oily skin but nowadays it seems suitable for all skin types. Tea tree is good at controlling acne so if your skin is acne prone you should definitely use tea tree products. Besides that tea tree helps keeping a check on excessive oil and blemishes. Travelling through pollution and being exposed to dirt certainly cannot be avoided. Just to protect the skin we cannot evade the circumstances or stop going out in our day-to-day life. One thing that certainly helps in dealing with these situations is a good face wash.
Keeping my daily routine in mind I have purchased a new tea tree skin clearing face wash from The Body Shop. Read to know how I have found this product so far.
My Take on ‘The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash’
The body shop tea tree skin clearing face wash is pale green in color with mild herbal fragrance. The consistency is runny so it has to be used cautiously. The on-shelf packaging looks quite attractive mainly because of its bottle green color and BIG ‘Tea-Tree’ imprint. It is a leakage proof, flip open bottle so you can easily accommodate it in your travel bag.
I use this face wash twice a day – morning and evening. After I use this face wash I feel my skin soft and supple. It prevents oil glands from secreting excess oil but that job lasts only for 3-4 hours. After that period the tube-light shine again comes back but with limited gleam. I wish it could provide oil free look all day long. Nevertheless, with consistent use I notice that my skin has become clearer, evener and has a radiant glow. It never makes my skin over dry or stretchy; every time I use this face wash I get a healthier baby soft skin
Even though I find its price on a little higher side yet the quantity seems to supplement the purchase. The body shop tea tree skin clearing face wash is very gentle and mild. Usually, I do not wash my face more than twice a day but this one is different. With this face wash I can go for 1 extra wash 😉 . It removes all external impurities thoroughly thereby making skin even. In summers this one works as a cooler and refresher. I always feel rejuvenated after using this face wash so this is unquestionably on my entire-summer skin care list.
Regarding its blemish control claim, I do not see any prominent difference in the acne blemishes. It might take a little long to work on them or might not work at all. I cannot comment on that part but leaving that aside it’s a very effective face wash.
