Is Pears Pure And Gentle Ultra-Mild Face Wash Good For Dry Skin ?

I wish you all a very happy new year. May 2015 bring immense happiness, love and success for you. Talking about this review, I have been trying different face washes from past few months but could not find a single to fully rely upon. It’s been long that I did not re-purchase any face wash for the lack of its effectiveness on my skin. How’s your experience? While it’s the season of chilly and rough winters, it’s also the beginning of dry, rough and unusually stretched skin. Undoubtedly, winters are harsh on our beautiful, flawless and baby soft skin. :cry: But luckily, as the winter season is coming to an end (in a couple of weeks it would ;-)) I guess I have found the ultimate face wash for my skin type.

For the record, I have dry skin with super dry forehead and nose. Because of the skin type I need to take its special care in winters in order to save it from dryness and patches. I started using Pears when I was entirely disappointed from various brands of face washes. My skin was getting rough and scaly day by day, I wanted a face wash that did not make my skin rough. After a lot of pondering I decided to go for either a cream based or non-soap based face wash. While I was searching for a good option in the grocery store, I found something convincing, Pears with pure glycerin.

As the name says Pears pure and gentle face wash is ultra-mild on the skin. It makes a rich lather when applied on wet face. Just a little quantity is required to create abundant lather; I hope that I do not need to re-purchase it any time sooner. Being formulated with glycerine it is hard to get rid of. Even when you have splashed enough water you will feel your skin sticky/soapy. But you do not to worry about the sticky part as that is for the skin hydration. Just ensure that you have rinsed off the lather, so as it does not resurface in form of dry patches on your face.

I like the post washing effect this face wash brings on to my skin. It does not make my skin feel dry or itchy. For the glycerin, I do not even immediately run to apply a moisturizer after face-wash. In fact, before I started using this product I tend to moisturize my face a couple of times a day but since I have started using it I just do this once. One time moisturizer, in the morning, is enough to keep my skin silky-soft. It indeed feels smooth, just like as they show in those pears’ advertisement.

We all know that dry skin is more prone to wrinkles so it needs proper hydration and time-to-time moisture to defer the ageing process. In my opinion, as Pears pure and gentle ultra-mild face wash keeps the skin hydrated and moisturised for all day long it does take the skin one step in opposite direction – defers ageing to an extent. Plus, if you are a busy-bee like me then you could save a lot of time that otherwise gets wasted while repeatedly applying moisturiser.

– It is mild on the skin.
– It does not make the skin dry or scaly.
– It has a mild fragrance.
– It comes in flip open tube that makes it easy to carry anywhere, spill proof.
– It is required in very small quantity.
– Very economical.
– It is readily available in all stores. You need not to visit big malls or shopping complexes to buy it.
– It has Glycerin which is very friendly to the skin.
– Best winter option for the people who have dry skin.
– It does not make the skin scream for moisturizer immediately after wash.

What I do not like about ‘Pears Pure And Gentle Ultra-Mild Face Wash’

– There is nothing specific about this face wash that I may not like except a lot of water is required to get rid of that sticky feeling.
