New Year is here and I am so excited for it. Today, I am going to review an amazing product ‘Wet n Wild Megaslicks Lip Gloss’ in the shade bronze berry. Personally, I don’t have an inclination towards lip glosses because I always think that they somehow make me look tacky. During my college days, I tried to use lip glosses but then I discontinued because they used to give a very loud shine which I never liked. But recently while doing online shopping, I thought to give them another try so bought this Wet n Wild Megaslick gloss. Let’s see if I want to keep it or leave it.

My Take on ‘Wet n Wild Megaslicks Lip Gloss Bronze Berry’
This lip gloss comes in the usual transparent tube packaging. The packaging is quite standard but still it does not feel flimsy or fragile. The cap is sliver in color and the attached wand has a doe-foot applicator which picks up exactly the right amount of product required to cover my lips.
The megaslick lip glosses comes in 16 stunning shades. The range is quite versatile; I would say it has colors belonging to almost every color family; you can easily spot pink, violet, grey, silver and gold shades. I picked up the bronze berry shade as it looked appropriate for my skin tone. Indeed, it is a very pleasant looking brown(ish) lip gloss with pink undertones. I like such colors as they come up really well on me. I feel the color is suitable for every skin tone. It looks good with or without any lipstick underneath but I personally like to wear it over my n*de lipsticks for that extra drama.
It has thick consistency that feels smooth and creamy. I was expecting it to have runny consistency but gladly it did not come even close to that. It has a mild floral fragrance that is not at all strong, and fades after some time. What I really liked about this lip gloss is it never feels sticky. It feels pretty normal and does not make me realize I am wearing any sort of lipstick or lip gloss.
It has finely milled golden glitters that enhance the finish of this gloss. These finely milled particles catch light when you move at certain angles and make the lips shine. The good thing is that these particles do not feel gritty or heavy on the lips. Lips look shiny and glossy without any discomfort feel.
The thing that surprised me the most about this lips gloss was its staying power. It stays for more than 5 hours if applied on top of a lipstick, is not that incredible for a lip gloss! Without lipstick also it stays on for around 3-4hours. It fades a little after every meal but I think that is acceptable. I recently wore this gloss to a wedding and it survived for up to 5 hours without any touch-up. Even after heavy meals, I could see it on the lips.
It does not make the lips dry. Rather I would say, it is moisturizing enough to be worn without a lip balm underneath. But still, to be on a safer side I recommend using a lip balm if you suffer from dry or chapped lips.
What I like about ‘Wet n Wild Megaslicks Lip Gloss Bronze Berry’
– It stays for up to 5 hours if applied on top of a lipstick, and 3-4 hours without a lipstick.
– It does not feel sticky or heavy.
– It is appropriate for all skin tones.
– It does not make the lips dry; in fact it keeps them moisturized.
– Value for money.
– Comes in 16 shades.
What I do not like about ‘Wet n Wild Megaslicks Lip Gloss Bronze Berry’
– Availability of wet n wild products in India is always a big issue.

Final Word: ‘Wet n Wild Megaslicks Lip Gloss Bronze Berry’ is an awesome product. I use this lip gloss on regular basis as it looks really good on my skin and gives an elegant look. Overall, this product has fared quite well on me and it managed to impress me even though I am not a huge fan of lip glosses. A big thumps up for that! I would love to try another shades from this range. You should also go and check out the range, and especially this shade which according to me is very subtle and elegant.
