Until a couple of weeks ago I was looking for a good face wash. The one that lathers well and at the same time would not dry out my skin. After considering some foamy face washes I decided to settle on a non-foamy facial cleanser. Foaming face washes rip the skin off moisture so are not a good option for winters. Plus, I was also facing acne breakout around the chin area so I wanted salicylic acid to be the main ingredient in my face wash. After a little search I decided to go for ‘L’Oreal Go 360 Clean Anti Breakout Facial Cleanser’. Until I used the face wash I had my apprehensions regarding the efficacy of this facial cleanser but immediately after I used it I thumped my back for taking the right decision . Read on further to know whether it was effective in treating acne or not.

My Take on ‘L’Oreal Go 360 Clean Anti Breakout Facial Cleanser’
L’Oreal go 360 cleanser comes in a flip open hard plastic bottle. The orange color of the bottle is quite attractive. It has a hole in lower half that contains a white colored scrublet; you have to remove the plastic sheet to take it out. The scrublet is made of very soft plastic and has an uneven surface with small spikes on it. We will come to the scrublet’s usage later ;-).
The face wash is gel based with runny consistency. It is transparent in color and has a smooth texture devoid of any gritty particles. The fragrance is slightly orange (ish) but very mild. In fact, I like this fragrance as it brings a refreshing feel post washing the face. Being mild, I think it would also be ok to those who have sensitive noses.
This face wash can be used with and without scrublet. Only a small drop of the product is required for one time wash. When I use it without scrublet, I prefer to pour a drop on my wet palm, rub the palms together to create lather and then apply this lather on entire face and neck area. Further, I massage my face in gentle circular motion focusing on acne prone areas and after 15-20 seconds rinse it off with tepid water. As I am going through acne breakout phase so I do not use the scrublet often but just twice a week. As with hands, I pour a drop of the cleanser on wet scrublet and rub it on my face in circular motions. The mild spikes on the scrublet strips the impurities off the skin, and give a thorough cleansing. After I rinse off the lather I actually sense that clean and fresh feel on my face.
I use it morning and evening, and it does not make my feel stretch or over dry. Even in such cold weather I have developed a liking for this cleanser so I think it would be an excellent choice for summers as well. The salicylic acid infused in this cleanser has worked for me in treating painful acne, and also in suppressing further acne breakouts. I have also noticed a visible reduction in my pore size since I have started using this product. Normally, I do not get impressed with products that claim to reduce pore size, L’Oreal Go 360 Clean Anti Breakout Facial Cleanser does not even put forth any such claim but still I see those effects on my skin.
