Matrix biolage hair smoothing masque comes in a wide tub that makes its application easier. The masque is off- white semi thick cream with a nice mild fragrance. The tub containing the smoothing masque is quite heavy. For the record, I have average length hair with normal hair texture- neither too rough nor too silky. For my normal hair texture, I use Matrix biolage hair smoothing masque immediately after shampooing. But if your hair is very rough then you can also use it next day after shampooing the hair.

How to use ‘Matrix Biolage deep smoothing hair masque review’
After shampooing the hair I do not apply any hair conditioner. I rub the hair against towel to let go off the excess water. Then using fingers, I directly apply Matrix Biolage hair masque on damp hair. Once the hair strands are covered with smoothing mask I tie them in a bun and keep the masque on for around half an hour. As the towel has already soaked the excess water so the masque does not cause any dripping. After half an hour I rinse of the hair masque and towel dry the hair. If possible steam your hair or tie it up in a hot towel. This will bring more relief to damaged hair.

Effects of ‘Matrix Biolage deep smoothing hair masque review’: After using the masque, damp hair feels really soft but as the hair starts drying out the softness effect start decreasing. When the hair becomes fully dried I do not see any fizziness but the softness reduces to 60% of what it was when the hair was damp. Taking in consideration that I do not use any hair conditioner while using this masque, I find that Matrix Biolage Hair Smoothing Masque works better than my usual hair conditioner. I have read somewhere that hair masks work better if applied next day after shampooing. So to reap better results you can also try this hair masque next day after shampooing.
For an average length hair, the tub quantity will last for 20-22 applications.

Matrix biolage hair smoothing masque comes in a wide tub that makes it easier to take the emulsion to cover the hair. But as one has to dip the fingers inside to take the emulsion so the whole tub gets contaminated. The tub packaging is very convenient but if it would have come along with an applicator then that would have saved the entire content from contamination.

Shampoo your hair like you do normall, and towel dry.You have to apply this masque on towel dried hair. Slather it on your mane from mid-length till the ends. After 15-20 minutes wash off with plain water… and ta da your will be smooth and soft !

Dear Lima, I have never experienced this problem. My hair always use to feel soft and smooth after its application. Are you skipping conditioner ? What all products are you using while shampooing ? I think I would be able to help once you provide this info. Also, what is your scalp type ?

I have done smoothening. Can I use it on my hair? Is it suitable?
I would not recommend it on chemically treated hair… go for products that are specifically made for smoothening
