I created another eye makeup look this week. Yes, I managed some time out of my hectic workplace life to create this look. It looks simple but believe me I had to work hard to intensify the pigmentation of these shadows. The blue colors that you can see eventually do not easily show up that well. Here is the trick – to intensify the pigmentation of not-so-pigmented eye shadows you need to back them up either with black kohl or white liner or any matching liner to give them a good base so that color intensity can boost up.
For this look, I used Maybelline vivid & smooth eye liner in shade ocean blue as base. I slathered it all over the eyes to make a strong base for the blue eye shadow and help it intensify. It really worked well in improving the pigmentation of both blue colors. I used indigo blue on ¾ of the eye lid and on rest of the eye a lighter version of blue color- shimmery aqua blue. On the inner corner, white eye shadow is used to brighten the eyes and give them an awaken look. The liner was kept thin to not to overshadow the overall look. Or, you can say I decided to something different than a winged eye liner- a simple liner is different from a winged one. Finally, I finished the look with mascara on upper and lower lashes, and kohl on waterline. Hope you like the look!
