As the name says the newly launched ‘Virgin Mojito’ range is inspired by the refreshing cocktail. A total of five body care products are introduced in this limited edition range. All of them are infused with the freshness of lime and mint- so you can take it as a pampering treat for the skin. Though this was supposed to be a summer launch, but the products are so fragrant that you would love to use it in every season. I am sure it will be a hit among both men and women.
The entire range consists of Virgin Mojito body splash, body butter, body scrub, body sorbet and shower gel. In today’s post I will be giving my impression on first three products. It has not been long enough since I have started using this range so I will be sharing the full fledged separate reviews in couple of weeks. In the meanwhile, have a look at the first impression.
The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Body Splash– It is sort of a body perfume that smells wonderful – a beautiful mix of lime and mint. It should be used immediately after the shower to make the feeling of freshness last for long. In my opinion, the fragrance of this intoxicating Virgin Mojito splash will last even long if you top it on body butter. This is the first time I would be using a body splash so I am excited to introduce it my daily regimen. Rs 1395 for 300ml
The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Body Butter– It comes in typical packaging of TBS body butters. It too is refreshing mix of lime and mint. The texture is lightweight and easy to spread. I am not yet sure for how long it keeps the skin moisturized but it claims to do so for up to 24 hours. Rs 1095 for 200ml
The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Body Scrub– This is one of my favorite products of Virgin Mojito range. The minuscule scrub particles are super gentle on the skin, and yet cleanse it thoroughly. It does not make the skin dry, in fact leave it hydrated and clean. Its fragrance gives the exact aroma as does the world’s most amazing cocktail. Rs 1295 for 250ml
Being a limited edition range, the products will be available on store shelves for a short while only. So if you like them stick them up- their shelf lives are around 2.5 years. The bottles/tubs are made of light plastic to fit in any-size travel bag. This was supposed to be a summer launch; I know we are already heading towards winters but Virgin Mojito lovers would enjoy these products in any and every season. As far as the efficacy and performance is concerned, I will post detailed reviews on each of these products the moment their testing gets over.
