Though every moment, every day should be full of love and happiness, February is specifically considered the month of love for St. Valentine. Days like this give us a reason to do something special for our loved ones and sometimes even mend the bitterness. Well, after this “Gyan” its time to share the contents of February 2018 Fab Bag.
The February 2018 fab bag is based on Valentine’s day theme, and is named the XOXO…
Hugs and kisses. This month’s bag comes in a cute off-white pouch that has pink hearts imprinted on it. The quality of the pouch is okay but I like it for its resemblance to the month of love. I think it is also available in black color which has a similar design. Coming to the products, February 2018 Fab Bag contains 6 products- 4 full sizes and 2 deluxe sample size. Let’s have a look at the products.
NELF USA HD Foundation- This foundation is available in three shades- natural, honey gold and neutral rose. I got this in shade honey gold, which is for medium to wheatish skin tones. This is a high definition foundation and commits to providing long wear, full coverage natural finish. I have not tried it yet but I might soon as it gives a matte look which I what I like since I am blessed with oily skin. It is a full-size product that retails for Rs 800.
Major Crush By Ayushi Pure Matte Nail Lacquer- I got the shade 103, there is no shade name. It is a matte finish nail polish that was looking like a tomato red shade when I was applying it but soon after drying turned into a deeper shade of red. Somehow, I like this after-drying shade and the professional matte finish. The downside of the beautiful shade is the longevity. It does not have a chip-proof formula and neither does the matte stays intact for long. On my nails, it did not even stay on for whole 1 day. Nevertheless, for occasions when you need to flaunt your nails in red this is a nice option. And, the product retails for Rs 199.
Purple Essentionaturals Bath Salt- February fab bag contains two products of the Purple brand. The first product is a bath salt. Its key ingredients are Peppermint oil, Almond oil, and Olive oil. I like using bath salts as they give a nice refreshing experience, and this one sounds moisturizing too. I am excited to use it and might even publish a mini review. Stay tuned for that. The bag contains the full-size version of this bath salt that retails for Rs 450.
Tvakh White Tea Rose Deep Pore Cleansing Exfoliating Scrub- As the name says this scrub includes the goodness of Roses. It has beautiful Rose fragrance that relaxes the tensed nerves giving a wonderful exfoliating experience. The creamy texture makes massaging fun and clears dead skin cells. I have already used this scrub twice and pretty happy with the results. The 50g product retails for Rs 172.
Purple Essentionaturals Milk & Honey Shower Gel- This is the second product from the Purple brand, and is again a full-size product. This shower gel contains the goodness of Almonds and honey so I am hoping that it will be beneficial for the skin. I have not used it yet but I might do that soon. Full-size product costs Rs 594
Acne Whitening Clarifying Face Wash- The next on the list are two sachets of Acne face washes that cost Rs 5 each. Honestly, I do not like using face wash sachets on a daily basis as I found them unhygienic. They might come in handy for a short trip, and if I ever use them I will make sure I publish the first impressions.
So overall, February 2018 Fab Bag is a pretty good deal. It contains 4 full-size products and the total worth of the bag is around Rs 2200.
