Outfit Of The Day- Pleated Chiffon Mint Dress
Yesterday, after a long time, it turned out to be a perfect summer evening – no sweltering weather, no heat but just the cool breeze. To make the best of nature’s blessings we went for a stroll to India Gate, Delhi. The sun was about to set across the lush green lawns and wide roads. Families were spending some quality time together, couples were busy in their dreamy never ending talks, and children were happy enjoying their liberty crawling on the clean grass. Bhel puri, popcorns, raam ladoos, bhutta peddlers made the evening more perfect. Everybody seemed in a joyful picnic mood :dancydancy:
I and Sunny (my husband) took our favourite ice creams (orange candy and chocolate double treat respectively ;-) ), and strolled on the wide roads. No traffic and no honking – one can just be carefree and walk the way one likes on these roads. Initially, it was not that crowded but in just a couple of hours people started ushering in big groups, and we know it was time for us to leave.
I was happy that I wore my pleated chiffon mint dress. The dress was enough to speak for itself so I paired it up with silver jewelry and sandals. Being comfortable attire, it added more charm to the evening and made this visit more pleasant. You can enjoy the photographs here. And yes, I curled up my hair and really liking the way they look in these pictures. I will post a DIY tutorial on hair curling soon (without any chemicals and heating treatment).
I wish there were many more summer evenings like this! Hope you too had a good weekend !
