Outfit Of The Day- Black Top With Red Pencil Skirt
How is your vacation planning going on for the long weekend ahead? I have taken 2 additional leaves so that makes my weekend 5 days long . Well, I do not have any vacation plans as such but I would most probably be visiting my home and in-laws home in Punjab. 5 days away from the packed up monotonous routine. I can’t wait to relive those lazy mornings, stuffed paranthas in breakfast, gossiping with my younger sister, playing with my cutie pie Steffi (yes, we have a dog at my home), and the list would never end. Nothing new in this, we all prepare endless lists on our home visits to utilize every moment in the best possible manner. What this all has to do with Today’s OOTD?? Well, nothing at all.
Now, let’s straightaway come to the OOTD details. This back top has been resting in my closet for quite some time. I did not use to wear it often as it is a bit loose with little sagging at the front. Of late when I got this red pencil skirt I rummaged the whole closet to look for the best match. Ironically, this black top was what I perceived to go well with the skirt. And the icing on the cake is this recent color blocking trend, which is getting acceptance by leaps and bounds
To add a hint of glamor I decked up the outfit with some gold detailing: a long chain gold pendant, a beige gold handbag and a pair of beige gold sandals. I must say these are the most comfortable sandals I have worn so far. I can even climb up a hill in these sandals without causing a ligament tear. Just kidding regarding the climbing part; but indeed they are very comfortable. And yeah, dont look out at my bulged out tummy. I know that I need to work on it 😥
