If you do not know then let me know tell you that I am into lipsticks these days. For time being, I have ditched using lip glosses and turned over to lipsticks. About a year ago, I did not even use to like wearing lipsticks and now I want to try each and every available lipstick shade. Lipsticks have more staying power and pigmentation as compared to glosses. If you are lucky enough to find a good formulated lipstick that you totally adore then it is worth every penny. These days I am testing Oriflame The ONE color unlimited lipsticks. Most of the shades in this range are daily wearable and long lasting. Today, I will put forth my opinion on ‘Oriflame The ONE Color Unlimited Lipstick Violet Extreme’, which is a really great shade for Indian skin tones.
My Take on ‘Oriflame The ONE Color Unlimited Lipstick Violet Extreme’
I have not been a huge fan of violet lipstick shades as I always thought them appropriate for Mommy’s age group. Since I have started using Oriflame’s Violet Extreme lipstick shade I do not see myself getting out of its trap. The more I use this shade more I fall in love with it. This lipstick has totally revamped my opinion about violet lip shades. ‘Oriflame The ONE’ lipstick in Violet extreme lipstick shade does not only add brightness to my face but also adds tons of freshness. During heavy work load days, whenever tiredness starts surfacing on my face I color my lips with violet extreme lipstick to add cheerfulness and instant rejuvenation.

As compared to other lipsticks of ‘The ONE’ range I find Violet extreme more buttery. It glides on to the lips as butter melts on hot roasted bread. Seriously, its application feels like I am applying a lip balm. It keeps the lips hydrated and moisturised all day long. Even in this cold and dry weather I do not need to slather an extra layer of lip balm underneath ‘Oriflame The ONE’ lipsticks.

The staying power is good; it does stay on all day long and saves me from those extra rest room trips that demand for touch ups. While it fades away after interim meals, it does so evenly leaving a soothing tinge of violet shade behind. For bleeding, it does bleed a little from the corners so I fix it up with pressed powder, by doing so it stays intact for all day long. There is no accentuation of fine lines or accumulation of dry skin with this lipstick. The pigmentation part is good too as it provides medium to sheer coverage. Being a bright shade, it would cover up pigmented lips and suit all skin tones.

I have always been reluctant carrying bright shades to office but this one has totally made me change my mind. Now, I flaunt my violet lips with as much ease as I do with n*de lip shades. Formulated with butter and oils, ‘Oriflame The ONE’ lipsticks are super soft and fragile. I always have to be extra careful while applying these lipsticks as I am afraid that even a tiny ounce of extra pressure would break the bullet.

What I like about ‘Oriflame The ONE Color Unlimited Lipstick Violet Extreme’
– It is super smooth to apply.
– It melts on to the lips as if you are applying a lip balm.
– It adds brightness to the face.
– It might be a good shade for all skin tones.
– It is a daily wearable shade – perfect for office and OOO.
– It fades away evenly.
– It does not accentuate fine lines or cause accumulation of dry skin.
– It keeps lips moisturized for long hours.
What I do not like about ‘Oriflame The ONE Color Unlimited Lipstick Violet Extreme’
– The bullet looks fragile and incapable of handling pressure. This is not actually a con if you pay attention on the application part.
– Shelf life is not mentioned on the casing. But who cares! I am so much in love with them that I won’t let them cross the expiry threshold.

Final Word: These days I am obsessed with Oriflame The ONE Color Unlimited Lipstick in Violet Extreme shade. This shade is my savior in times of over-exhaustion. It eliminates dullness and adds enchanting cheerfulness to one’s face. The buttery formula keeps the lips hydrated and saves them from chapping. In my opinion this is a perfect shade that is suitable for all skin tones and all age groups.
