Drink as much water as you can, if possible add some lemon juice too as it will help in satiating your thirst and keep your body at normal temperature. For the outer skin, never ever step out of the house without applying sun screen- not just on face, rather slather it on all exposed body parts. These are the two tips that I am following rigorously, so thought of sharing with you also. Well, in today’s post I will be sharing my review on M&S aloe vera shower gel. Aloe vera works wonders for skin irrespective of the season, but in summers it becomes a boon for us homo- sapiens. Let’s look at the benefits of its preserved essence.
My Take on ‘Marks and Spencer Fresh Aloe Vera Shower Gel with Added Moisturizer’
M&S fresh Aloe Vera shower gel comes in a fancy flip open tube packaging. The tube is made of soft plastic, which makes it easily squeezable. The aquamarine color is so alluring that you cannot miss seeing it on the shelves. The only con with the packaging is its cap that does not have sturdy grip. Sometimes it spills the contents even when the cap is properly shut. Plus, because of the bulky size it occupies good space in travel bag, making it difficult to accommodate the tube considering the luggage weigh check we are having these days.
The consistency is semi-runny, so you do not even need to squeeze the tube much to get the product. On the contrary, keep a watch on the quantity you wish to use because once out the contents cannot be put back. The shower gel is transparent in color, and has pleasing aloe vera fragrance. As soon as you open the cap you will be mesmerized with that soothing fragrance. The fragrance is prominent but not bothersome; per me even if you are accustomed to staying away from strong fragrances that is no reason to unlike this product.
For usage, I put a coin size quantity on a wet loofah; slightly rub it to create lather before scrubbing it on the body. It creates beautiful lather so if you are a foam lover you would not be disappointed at all. And yes, in case you are out of loofah you can apply it with hands as well but the lather generation will be less as compared to what you get from loofah.
For efficacy, it neither makes my skin too dry nor too moisturized. Usually, I apply a moisturizer afterwards but even if once a while I skip doing that my skin does not look parched. Plus, the aloe fragrance does not stay on for that long; in one hour or so it is all gone and if you immediately apply moisturizer the staying power is even lesser.
What I like about ‘Marks and Spencer Fresh Aloe Vera Shower Gel with Added Moisturizer’

– Refreshing aloe fragrance is a bonus in this hot weather.
– Does not dry out or leave the skin parched even hours after shower.
– Reasonably priced.
– M&S does not test their products on animals.
– Coin size quantity is required for one time use.
What I do not like about ‘Marks and Spencer Fresh Aloe Vera Shower Gel with Added Moisturizer’
– Its packaging is not at travel friendly.
– I wish fragrance would have stayed little longer.
