Olay is one of my favourite skin care brands. Not only me but my Mom has also been using Olay products since do not know when. Her entire skin care range consists of Olay products. Inspired from her, I bought an ‘Olay anti-ageing total effects 7 in 1 eye cream’, which I will be reviewing Today . I have been using it for over 2 months so its time to write a thorough review :-)

My take on Olay total effects 7-in-1 anti ageing eye cream
Olay total effects 7-in-1 anti ageing eye cream comes in a very small glass tub. The eye cream looks like a tinted moisturizer. That means that it can be used for dual purpose: as a moisturizer and as a concealer. The texture of the cream is quite soft. I just have to take a very small quantity of the cream, about a pea size, and dab it on the under eye area. If applied in large quantity it will stick in the fine under eye lines and make them more visible. So be cautious with the quantity. It does not get entirley absorbed into the skin so do not keep rubbing your eyes to make it sink into the skin, instead leave it as is.
As far as dark cirlces are concerned, I do not see any difference in my under eye circles- the very purpose for which I have purchased the cream still remains unattended to. However, this cream can be used as a concealer or as an eye primer under the eye makeup.

The product claims the following effects:
• Minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
• Reducing the appearance of dark circles
• Fighting dullness and replacing it with a healthy-looking radiance
• Reducing the appearance of puffiness
• moisturising to nourish dry skin
• Smoothing skin’s texture with gentle exfoliation
• Balancing color and tone
Well, as far as my experience with this cream goes I don’t agree with the site claims on first two points. I find that the body shop’s Vitamin E under eye cream is more effective than this one in reducing dark circles and fine lines. You can check its review here.
What I like about ‘Olay total effects 7-in-1 anti ageing eye cream’-
– Good moisturizer.
– Can be used as a concealer.
– Well packed.
– Long shelf life.
– Very mild fragrance.
– Travel friendly.
What I do not like about ‘Olay total effects 7-in-1 anti ageing eye cream’-
– Does not get absorbed easily.
– Not much effective in reducing dark circles and fine lines.
– Contains chemicals.
Packaging of ‘Olay total effects 7-in-1 anti ageing eye cream’- It comes in a very cute and very heavy glass bottle about the size of a lip balm. The cap is solid black plastic and it’s very nicely packed as all Olay creams are.
Ingredients of ‘Olay total effects 7-in-1 anti ageing eye cream’- allantoin, aloe barbadensis, camellia sinensis (green tea), citric acid, cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract,dimethicone, dimethiconol, glycerin,niacinamide, petrolatum, panthenol, pro-vitamin b5, titanium dioxide, tocopheryl acetate, vitamin b3, vitamin b5, vitamin e,zinc oxide
Shelf life- It’s 3 years from the manufacturing date.
Price of ‘Olay total effects 7-in-1 anti ageing eye cream'(at the time of this review)- Rs 749 for 15ml.
