Maybelline Color Show Nail paint Nude Skin (015) Review
As much as I love makeup, I love nail paints. Finding good nail paint is always a tough task, especially a versatile shade that goes well with everything you wear. But my search for the perfect nail paint got accomplished when I found n*de skin shade in Maybelline color show (MCS) range. Maybelline has done a favor for nail paint lovers by launching these exquisite nail colors at reasonable prices. Most of the shade in these range are worth purchasing, nevertheless let’s read on my review on this natural looking nail paint first.
My Take on ‘Maybelline Color Show Nail paint Nude Skin’
Nothing can beat the effect of neutral nail paints. These nail shades are my all time favorite, but finding an appropriate one is really an endless search. Years ago, I used to wear a natural nail shade from Maybelline Coloroma but unfortunately when it was discontinued I felt stranded. Until now, I have been trying to find a somewhat similar nail shade, and the search ended when Maybelline launched the Nude Skin shade in their color show range. It’s been a couple of months since I am using this shade, only now to realize that it deserves a review post of its own.
The packaging is like all other MCS nail shades. The transparent bottle gives the exact reflection of the nail paint as it would be on the nail beds. The glass bottles are not that sturdy though, I have got a couple of mine broken when they accidentally fell off my hands. So you need to be little careful while handling these nail polishes.
Being a subtle nail shade, it requires at least 2 coats to hide the streakiness. Plus, to get the color of the bottle I always top up another third coat. I love this shade as it goes well with all traditional and western outfits irrespective of the color of attire. The beauty of this shade does not get altered with changing seasons. This is my second bottle and I still do not feel out-of-love of this nail polish. Furthermore, it is easy to remove unlike the glitter mania nail polishes of MCS.
The salon like sheen looks beautiful on first two days, but afterwards it fades off leaving nails dull. To overcome this con, I often apply glossy transparent nail paint on third day for that fresh and shiny look. But I do not mind doing that as it provides an immaculate perfection effortlessly.
