Matrix Opti Care Smoothing Conditioner Review
Hope you had a wonderful long weekend. As for me, I did not go anywhere, stayed at home and still could not realize how these days surpassed. During this entire long weekend, I behaved so lethargically that I did not even write a single article for BABE. Oh my, it feels so bad now. I could have made a better use of this time. Nevertheless, I am back on my routine with yet another review on Matrix Opti Care Smoothing Conditioner. I think I am used to working in a hectic home-office-BABE schedule, and on top more productive when I am all surrounded by work.
Just like Matrix Opti care smoothing shampoo, matrix opti care smoothing conditioner is also for chemically straightened hair. But as I have already mentioned in matrix shampoo review, I have purchased these 2 products even after knowing that they are specially formulated for straightened hair. These are the only products that suited my hair
care needs so I just added them to my stash.
Matrix opti care smoothing conditioner comes in an orange colour flip open tube packaging. The tube is made up of soft squeezable plastic ensuring that you use every last bit of the product. The conditioner is white in colour with a smooth semi-thick texture and yummy fruity fragrance. I like the yummy fragrance but sadly it does not stay on for more than 30 minutes.
Talking about the usage, just a very small quantity of the product is required for one time usage. Usually, I prefer to dilute my shampoo and conditioner before applying them on the scalp and hair, so is the case with this product. After shampooing hair with ‘matrix opti care’ shampoo, I apply the diluted conditioner concoction on my wet hair, massage a little and leave it on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing.
In regard to efficacy, I am quite impressed with the aftermath of using this conditioner. Immediately, after the application it starts casting its spell i.e. detangles hair that I happen to feel at the time of rinsing. My fingers move freely into the hair without confronting any wet hair locks. No hair locks means less or no struggle while detangling and thus less hair breakage. Even when hair gets dry it looks more smooth and soft, and less frizzy. The formula contains shea butter that helps in balancing hair moisture and thus giving a healthy look and shine to hair.
Just like it is with Matrix shampoo, matrix conditioner is also not available at common grocery shops. The only places that house these products are professional salons and online stores. I guess, these days online shopping is not a problem till you manage to order the products on time.
