L’Oreal Paris Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Conditioner Review
Hope you have had a lovely weekend, mine was a lot hectic. I was over-occupied on both the days so did not get much time for my blog. I was badly looking for some free time, which I did not get until now, to write my experience with L’Oreal Paris Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Conditioner. Lets’ start with the product’s claims, and then move to my expectations and experience.
What the product says:
The formula is enriched with two active ingredients: protein, renowned for nourishment and pearl, known for its shine. These two ingredients get together to do the following wonders.
– Boost mirror shine on hair. Smoother hair cuticles which reflect light better for mirror shine.
– Nourish and smoothen hair
– Soft, cashmere touch.
– Detangle instantly, without weighing down hair.
– Perfectly revived hair fiber which looks revived and full of life.
L’oreal paris nutri gloss mirror shine conditioner comes in l’oreal’s signature packaging i.e. a flat cylindrical bottles with flip open cap. The pretty pink color of the bottle and the bold glossy text were the main attractions that drew me toward this product. The conditioner is light pink in color. This pink color is very light, just a subtle variation from off white color. I like the semi thick consistency of this conditioner; it is this apt thickness that makes the dilution easier for me. Also, because of consistency it is easier to squeeze the bottle even when a very little quantity is left inside. This was really a task when I was using L’Oreal 6 oil conditioner.
Regarding the application, as you may have known by now that I never apply any shampoo or conditioner on the scalp so is with this conditioner. I dilute it first, and then apply on the hair – from roots to ends. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse off with normal water. Rinsing requires a little more time as this conditioner does not leave that easily. Before enwrapping my hair with towel, I always make sure that I have completely removed the conditioner from scalp and hair. The enwrapping thing goes on for 15-20 minutes only to make the detangling job easier. The hair becomes easy to detangle and breaks less.
Coming to the efficacy part, I have been using this conditioner for last 1 month. Right from day one, I expected my hair to reflect that much claimed mirror shine. I was not worried much about my hair revival as my hair already used to be healthy and smooth. But till this day, neither I notice any mirror shine nor hair rejuvenation. Instead, my hair has become dull and lifeless, with more frizzes. Anybody, at first glance, can make out that my hair is going from a bad phase. Now, I need to work harder in restoring my hair’s previous health, forget about getting that mirror shine.
What I like about ‘L’Oreal Paris Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Conditioner’
– Perfect consistency, neither too thick nor too thin.
– Detangling gets easier.
What I do not like about ‘L’Oreal Paris Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Conditioner’
Well, except for the consistency and detangling everything else about this conditioner falls under this section. The big claims that it makes about mirror shine, nourishment, revival and smoothness were not at fulfilled even after continuous usage of 1 month.

Final Word: This conditioner is really a gross product. Rather seeing any improvement in my hair health, I find it more lifeless and dull. I regret the day when I fell for the word “Mirror Shine” written on this bottle, and purchased it. I used to have healthy hair before I started using this conditioner, but now it looks rough, frizzy and unmanageable. Never in my life again would I re-purchase this Nutri gloss conditioner.
