First Glimpse: A Small Makeup and Beauty Haul !
This weekend was kind of an extended one. On Friday, I got free earlier than my usual office timings so we went to Iskcon temple. We attended the 7’o clock aarti – it was a totally spiritual ambiance. People were dancing, enjoying, loving and praying simultaneously. We spent an hour and half there, and had some desi ghee laddoos. I am supposed to be on dieting but owing to Sunny (my husband), who has got a sweet tooth, I could not control my urge to have a couple of bites (it was parshad after all 😉 ). On Saturday, we had some pretty serious stuff to do deal with. Once we finished it we (read: I) went for some relaxation – that can come only from shopping. I bought a couple of things, most of which were not required at all- but still as those were not that expensive I did not mind spending some extra bucks.
Maybelline Flasies Volume Express Mascara: Girls, in last one year I have lost two tubes of Lorea’l Volume Million Lashes Mascara. I do not exactly how that had happened but I felt utterly bad after losing them. It has been my favorite Mascara 😥 . To break the jinx of losing my Lorea’l Mascaras I have bought a Maybelline one this time. It has got good reviews, so I thought to give it a try. I will post my review on Maybelline’s mascara soon.
Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner: I am an avid user of liquid and pencil eye liners, have never ever tried a gel liner. I do not how good I would be at using this liner. In fact, after exhausting the already exhausted tester I got skeptical about its purchase. It might be because of the fact that I am not used to this liner but I am hoping that soon I would become ok (if not good) at it :fingers crossed: .Any tips on how to use a gel eye liner ?
Nail Paints: Not to mention I am a nail paint freak . I never return from a shopping spree without purchasing nail paints- at least one is must. This time I have bought 3 nail paints: Revlon cherry berry, Colorbar exclusive and Lakme fast and fabulous (shade name is not mentioned there ). All 3 are pretty shades, but as we speak I like cherry berry the most.
The Body Shop Maca Root Shave Cream: No, no I did not buy it for myself but sorry girls I have to add it to this haul list as Sunny is literally pushing me to mention it in this post. We bought it along with my makeup stuff, it looks good, feels heavy on the pocket and that’s all I have to say about it . Men’s stuff also needs some publicity after all. The only things that intrigued me was the TBS Vitamin E day cream sample sachets. 😉
Weather has been awesome this entire weekend – after a long gap the rain Gods took some pity on us and kept showering. Now, it is a pleasant climate in Delhi, and I hope it remains like this for a couple of more weeks.
Girls, what did you do on weekend? Did it rain there as well?
