First Glimpse: Oriflame The One Matte Lipsticks, h2O+ Marine Toner, h2O+ Sea Mineral Scrub
I did not use to be a lipstick hoarder. Since I have started blogging,my inclination for these colourful sins has taken a drastic leap. Painted lips take all the exhaustion off the face and give it a rejuvenated look. Lips glosses though seem to be a pick of teenage girls yet even ladies in 20s and 30s do not mind adding them to their stashes. My love for lip-painting started with glosses only, and has gradually reached to the lipstick level, primarily because lipsticks have more pigmentation and long staying power. Recently, Oriflame has launched another ‘The ONE’ lipstick collection keeping in mind the matte lovers. Well, let’s see the first glimpse of these lipsticks and some h2o+ skin care products.
Oriflame The ONE Matte Lipsticks
Ten beautiful shades have been launched to satiate those who prefer matte lips. The gamut seems more towards brown lipstick pickers with some exception of pink and red shades. The naming convention is carefully chosen and quite catchy, here they go: Pink Raspberry, Berrylicious, Wild Rose, Red Seduction, Desert Sand, Brownie Delight, Molten Mauve, Marry Maroon, Cherry Brown, Nutty Plum. Unlike the colour unlimited lipsticks, the matte ones bear the shade name on packaging and case. This small improvement has made it easier for ladies to pick up their favourite shades without actually uncovering the bullets. Being matte, these lipsticks are highly pigmented and have good staying power. Albeit, the range primarily consists of variation of brown shades, my favourite ones are pink raspberry, red seduction and wild rose. Pricing: INR 499
No, I did not buy this toner because I ran out of the current one. I just got intrigued by huge discount schemes running on h2o+ stores so stocked up a couple of skin care products. I have rarely used this brand so wanted to check their product quality, what could have been a better time for experimentation than this! Well, I have already started using this toner and my skin seems to like it. But for a detailed review you would need to wait for a couple of weeks. Pricing: INR 899
I actually ran out of face scrub so bought this one, primarily because of the fancy ‘sea mineral scrub’ title. But after I checked the ingredient list it came out that this scrub is full of parabens (bad luck). I should have checked that before purchasing it. Nevertheless, the irreparable damage is already done so I am not left with any other option but to use it. Pricing: INR 1050
I have high expectations from the matte lipsticks and h2o+ toner. For scrub, even though it has parabens I hope it turns out to be an average scrub.
