Complement Your Indian Attire With Pearl Jewelry
I still could not take myself out of the bling of gaudy dresses, glistening jewelry and high heel sandals. Being a beauty blogger I loved the given attention and importance for a makeup advisory. Though the heed makes one feel super special yet the advisor never gets to spend time on her. These few days were kind of a dreamland repleted with makeup, dresses and jewelry. What more a girl can ask for!
Talking about jewelry reminds of one thing, most of the beauties preferred to go for pearl sets. It seems like a latest fad in the fashion world, where people of all ages from children to grandmothers love adorning evergreen pearls. Truly, I feel that this form of ornaments enhances the exquisiteness and elegance of every age group. I love seeming my mom in her pearl set; it makes her look classy and graceful. Even my dad, who is least interested in girly things, gifted my mom a pearl set on their recent wedding anniversary. He specially got it designed from the eminent jewelers of Hyderabad, the Indian city known as the ‘City of Pearls’. Moreover, pearls are timeless and versatile. That is the reason why people across the world love to invest in pearl ornaments. They can be worn with every dress be it traditional or western, and on any occasion. Unlike lustrous gold and diamond pieces, true pearls never lose their charm or fail to look decent.
I do not own much of pearl jewelry as of now except a decent pair of earrings, which I wear almost daily. After looking at my mom’s pearl set, I have been asking Sunny to get one pearl set for me on my birthday. I hope this wish come true soon.
With regular wear pearls accumulate dirt. To maintain the glistening shine and immaculate appearance, pearls should be cleaned regularly. The most important thing to take care of is to keep them away from water and perfumes. Also, every time pearls are worn they should be cleansed with a soft cotton cloth before putting them in case. Avoid using rough cloth or putting lots of pressure while cleaning them. Plus, to help maintain luster, you should add a drop of olive oil to the cloth before using. In case the set is of intricate design and you are unable to extract dirt, I would suggest taking it to a professional jeweler.
The subtle beauty of the pearl has been notable throughout the ages. It is the oldest known gem with a beautiful history and flourishing future. So much as I am waiting for my pearl set I am waiting to reunite with my family. After spending good one week amidst loved ones, it feels really bad to come back to that secluded monotonous routine.
